Community National Bank Offers Interactive Teller Machines
If you have driven through a Community National Bank motor bank in the last six months you have likely been introduced to “Breeze Banking”. Breeze Banking is what Community National Bank has accurately named its new Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs).This technology made its debut at three of the four Community National Bank branches late in 2016.
The ITMs are one of the latest innovations in banking technology and are manufactured by NCR, a company with global expertise in consumer experience banking.
According to Ronnie Miller, Community National Bank President / CEO, the bank is one of the first banks in Texas to offer this technology to its customers.
ITMs feature a hybrid technology that allow users the ease and speed of an ATM terminal with the added face-to-face interaction of a traditional teller transaction. A customer initiates a session by simply touching the screen and they are immediately connected with a bank teller through a webcam. Customers and tellers interact with one another just like they would at a traditional drive up window.
According to users, an Interactive Teller Machine is much more than an ATM. The customer can still interact with a teller even after regular banking hours. With a touch of the screen the customer can make withdrawals, deposits, cash checks, make payments and even ask a live teller general bank questions, all without the use of a debit card.
“Love your Breeze Banking. It makes my day when I go through there and I am in and out in less than a couple of minutes. It is the easiest drive thru I have ever used! Love it!” said Ashley B. – CNB customer.
Over the last 10 years the banking industry has seen substantial change, both from a regulatory and technological standpoint. Mobile deposit and online banking are now staple services in most financial institutions who wish to provide their customers with the best personal service and metro bank convenience.
ITMs will likely become part of this array as their popularity grows. Banking in a small town has historically been limited to those narrow “banker’s hours”.
As an alternative, smaller banks can now even the playing field with the big banks by offering longer hours with the use of this new technology.
Breanne Granberg, Vice President of Development emphasized, “It was very important to us to provide expanded banking hours that better fit our customers’ busy lifestyles while continuing to serve them on a personal level”.
Breeze Banking centers are located at the Hondo, Castroville and Lytle branch locations.
Community National Bank was founded in April 1981 and serves the banking needs of the local south-central Texas community.
